Bumper to Bumper

Just got back and gosh, the cars were bumper to bumper and as a result, was stuck in the jam. I noticed today had an unusual heavy traffic and I wondered why. Perhaps it was because of raining? Or perhaps it was because of Monday? Hmm...

Now I shall go and have a rest. Will be back for more. :)

Chain Reaction

Watched 'Chain Reaction' on Starmovies yesterday. I was actually channel flicking when of a sudden I saw Keanu, so I read the information of the movie and it sounded pretty good (Oh yes, he's been my favourite since after Matrix, hehe... :) ). Anyway, 'Chain Reaction' is basically about two researchers in a energy project who are framed for murder of their mentor and the sabotage of the lab. Well, what I most liked about the movie was, it's fast-paced and entertaining and I enjoyed it. On the other hand, the sequence of the story wasn't really smooth and the ending was quite unsatisfying.

Overall, I'd give 7 stars out of 10.

Sudoku

When I first heard of Sudoku, I didn't pay much attention to it. Neither did I find it interesting. For me, Sudoku sounded like a Japanese term...until I got to know that it's a puzzle that got to do with logic (and numbers). Well, I wasn't a math whiz or a maths champ so when I got to know that it didn't have to do with mathematics, I decided to give it a try. When I tried to solve it for the first time, I couldn't solve a single thing. My mind was blank and so were the empty cells. They look inviting though, as if, they were waiting for my solutions. I tried many times, yet, empty and the digits that I filled in were not right. I decided to give up then. But, one fine day, out of the blue, I downloaded the game into my cell phone and to my surprise, I managed to solve it (although there were some tiny errors). I began to get excited and since then, it got me pretty hooked.

Well, I gotta say Sudoku isn't that difficult after all... :)

New Skin

Voila! I've changed my blog skin/template and I gotta say I like it although it's pretty simple. Thought of having a change since the previous one looked "blacky" (although it had blinking stars). And as for this one, I think it looks pretty "girly" but I do like the colour contrast, very nice. Also, I've changed my blog description to something better ('Who Is That Girl I See' previously sounded pretty kiddy lolz). Anyways, I'm still keeping the old template (kinda miss it) and perhaps I'd just set this new skin for a couple of weeks and see how it goes. Who knows, I might switch it back to the old one. :p

And here's what I got from him - a lovely, lovely "photo card" and a handphone accessory. Ahh... he's so sweet!

Bring You Home

Got to listen to Ronan Keating's latest album and I gotta say it's a good one. Most of the tracks are inspirational ballads and up-tempo. Compared to his previous album, this one has a slower pace, yet, I like it lots (though some say it's boring). Meanwhile, some of the tracks that really got my attention are 'This I Promise You', 'Iris' (cover version of Goo Goo Dolls) and 'Superman' (a sweet and wonderful ballad). There's also 'To be Loved' and personally, I think Westlife's version is much better. Ronan's version is pretty mellow and it's just ok. Overall, I'd rate this album 8/10.

Dance Fever

Watched 'Dance Fever' on Starworld last night and it's such a great show. It's a reality show (dancing competiton) and I gotta say I was truly amazed by them - the contestants. Their style and choreography was impressive, really nice. How I wish I could dance like them. :)

Now, now, where have I place all my danceable tracks?

Saturday Date. Superman Returns.

Just got back from college and driving practice and thought of updating my blog. Anyway, My Special and I went to Mid Valley on Saturday to watch 'Superman Returns' and I gotta say I liked the originality of the movie and the visual effects were brilliant. And how could I forget about Superman. He's superb and has an abilty to fly "faster than a speeding bullet". Well, to all the Superman/Superheroes fans out there, this is one great and entertaining movie that you shouldn't missed. :) And after the movie, we went to Toy 'R' Us to look around and I think the toys were pretty cute although they're for kids hehe... Also, we had dinner at Manhattan Fish Market and I had classic 'fish and chips' while my Special had 'baked fish in garden herbs'. Yup, the food was good.

Although time flies, memories remain. And I gotta say being and spending time with my Special is WoNdErFuL.

The Pussycat Dolls are coming to Malaysia and yes, they'll be performing at Sunway Lagoon on the 26th of July and I think it gonna be interesting. :) Hmm...to go or not to go? Well, I gotta say I'm still undecided, hee... Anyway, for more info, check this out - Pussycat Dolls Live in Concert.

Fusilli

Didn't know this is called Fusilli 'till I saw it online. I used to call it 'spiral' or 'twirl' pasta. Anyway, had it in tomato and basil sauce for lunch this noon and mmmm... yummy! (pardon me if I sound like a kiddo) hehe :P By the way, don't ya think its spiral shape looks cute? :)

Fantastic, Dramatic Match. Post-WC Blues.

Italy - 1
France -1
(Italy win 5-3 on penalties)

The final match between Italy and France was a great one. Among all the matches in World Cup 06, I think that was the best. Exciting and challenging enough to keep me on the edge of my seat. I gotta say both teams' performance were equally good but I think Italy's simply fantastic. Although I rooted for France, still, I had to give kudos to Italy. :)

Well, World Cup 06 has come to an end (how time flies!) and I'm wondering if you guys are having post-World Cup blues. If you do, fret not. Because here are some ways on how to beat those blues (according to specialists).

1) Keep your sleeping hours religiously, and make sure you wake up at a set time;
2) Short daytime naps help you overcome the fatigue;
3) Drink plenty of water;
4) Eat lots of fruits and vegetables;
5) Avoid alcohol for about a week;
6) Avoid sudden, excessive exercise;
7) Know what you've got to do before heading to work.

Hmm....I don't think I'm experiencing that much blues but do let me go and have my nap. :p

BuBbLy Me + WC Fever

Had a few red strawberries after breakfast and they're tasty and juicy and eating them makes me bubbly and perky... hehe...:P As for World Cup, I'm excited to watch Germany Vs Portugal and France Vs Italy (do bear with me, I'm still having WC fever). :P I think Portugal gonna win (although I'm on Germany side) and as for the finals, I'll be rooting for France although Italy might have a high chance of winning. Overall, I think the matches will be tight, interesting and challenging. Also, anything can happen in football.

Have a great weekend everyone and happy watching World Cup! :)

France in Finals

Portugal - 0
France - 1
(Penalty)

Thought of updating my blog since I'm having a break. :) Anyway, I gotta say the match was ok, not too boring and in fact, there were some moments where Portugal nearly made my heart dropped. And how could I forget about the penalty kick. Ricardo's a great goal keeper so I was pretty anxious that he could save Zidane's. But Zidane was fantastic. Meanwhile, I actually expected Portugal would score a goal (a draw at least), too bad, none and if they did, things certainly would be different.

For the coming Finals, Italy will play with France and for this one, there's only one word I could describe - tough. Because it's hard to say who will win. Maybe Italy? Maybe France? Thus, may the best team wins! :)

*To my Special, our second draw for the bet* :p

Damn, Darn, Dang!

Germany - 0
Italy - 2
(at extra time)

Damn it, darn it, dang it! Germany lost! I so wanted them to go to the finals but heck, Italy beat them. Am I disappointed? Yes, I am. Nah, didn't watch the match live but I'm watching the repeat later. Really would like to see how well Italy played. And as for Portugal Vs France, I've decided to watch it eventhough it's at 3am. I know I'm a lil bit "crazy" but just don't wanna miss it, hehe...and I believe it's gonna be a real tight match. :)

With my Special at Bukit Jalil

Had a great time with my Special on Sunday. Went swimming (my Special taught me how to swim) :D, and oh yeah, how could I forget about the water because it's so cold, haha! Anyway, after swimming, we went for motor-biking for a short while and although I was pretty afraid at the beginning, it's fun :D Later, we went to the Lantern Carnival (nice and beautiful lights and lotsa stuffs to see) and had food. Well, I gotta say I enjoyed myself very much, every second, every minute, every hour or in short - every moment...with my Special, of course :D

Here's a picture that was taken using Baby Sand.

Goodbye England, Goodbye Brazil

England is out and so is Brazil. Was upset when England lost and as for Brazil, I expected them to score at least a goal but they didn't. I think France played well and how could I forget about Henry's goal. It's simply fantastic.

And now, seems like World Cup is getting less exciting (good teams are out). For the semi-finals between Germany and Italy, I truly want Germany to win. And as for Portugal Vs France, I would like France to go through. Well, I used to dislike Henry when he's at Arsenal but I'm supporting him now (just for World Cup)...so, go go Henry! :p Hmm, I'm strange, ain't I? Lolz
