Food Shopping

Most girls ♥ shopping and so do I :) , and when comes to shopping, I usually like to break it into different categories, and of course my favourites gotta be clothes and cosmetics shopping. Although I don't always purchase them, just by looking around or window-shopping is more than enough. :p

On the other hand, I dislike food shopping because I perceive it as 'shopping for aunties' and also, the 'B' word that emerge - Boring!

As time goes by, I begin to like food shopping because I find it pretty interesting and yes, it's not that bad and boring after all. In fact, food shopping is enjoyable. Even just for confectionary alone, you can see lots of them sitting on the rack, waiting for you and sometimes, they look pretty inviting. And how could I forget about those calorie labels that are sticking at the back (of a product). I like scanning and looking at them eventually (for health sake) and my odd behaviour does annoy my parents and Mel at times, hee...

Now I shall go and get ready for a quick shopping, er, I mean food shopping (class starts at 2pm) and let's hope I don't leave with my both hands empty-handed. If that really happens, I think I'd have to change 'food shopping' into 'food window shopping' hehe!

Cats & Dogs

Found this picture on the web and thought of posting it here. Well, yesterday it rained cats and dogs (with flashes of lightning and roar of thunder) and I think it's scary. On the other hand, it's pretty good, at least, it cleared away most of the haze.

Up & Down

Went out with my cousins to KL for some food and Thai Club on Friday. It's been long since we last met and I gotta say it's nice to meet them again. And on Saturday, went to Genting Highlands with family. Nothing much at Genting, but I enjoyed the cool breeze and fresh air. And talking about luck, hee...I guess Lady Luck wasn't smiling at me that day.

Anyways, after all that, I felt sick as I had a headache and sorethroat. Perhaps I didn't drink enough of H2O, or perhaps because of the hot weather at KL. Still, I'm feeling not that well, but I'm getting better. At least, I could come online and update my blog. :)

Baby Zen

I posted something about Mp3 player on my blog not long ago (in 'Music Gadget'), but without revealing it, so here it is - Creative Zen Neeon (b'day gift from parents) which I named it Baby Zen.

Well, I've been using it since two weeks ago and so far, Baby Zen has been behaving well and has not die on me. The battery life is awesome as it lasts for about a week on a single charge and yes, I'm happy with it. Sound quality is okay, not too great but it's fine as I can adjust the settings according to my preference. As for the features, it has an FM radio, recording from three sources (voice, radio and the line-in port) and a custom equaliser. And how could I forget about the "Creative Stick-On" (re-usable sticker) which I can change the front anytime I want, or any mood I'm in. Oh yes, I always like stuffs that can be customized and right now, I'm using one of the "Face" Stick-Ons and I'm planning to get more soon. And speaking about design, I gotta say I like it muchy as it has a smooth black finish on the front and it looks chic. As for performance wise, transferring file is quick and so is skipping tracks although there's a tiny delay in the start-up and shut-down (which doesn't bother me).

Overall, I'd give it three and a half stars out of five

Twenty Two = 22

I turned 22 yesterday and yes, it's my birthday. Looking back when I was twenty one, I felt that being twenty one was something significant but as I grow older, I realized
twenty one is just a number. In fact, what most matters is not about growing old, but growing up in life instead.

With family

On Saturday, two days before my birthday, my family and I went to Coliseum ( a very old and vintage cafe) to have an early birthday dinner together. As it's my first time dining there, it's something new and I was kinda amazed with the interior decoration and also, I got facinated by the history of the cafe. Apart from that, the food was nice and I ordered 'grilled turkey ham with hash potato, pineapple and salad.'

About a couple of weeks ago, I still remember that my parents asked if I wanted to throw a birthday bash. I thought about it and I decided that I was ok without it as I preferred something "quiet" this year. Thus, my parents took me out and had a lil' celebration with me and it was great.

With my Special

No words can describe how I felt as my Special celebrated with me on Sunday in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. We went to Red Box at Low Yat Plaza to have a karaoke session and it's fun. Although I'm bad at singing, still, it's nice and I enjoyed belting tunes with him. He even sang me a birthday song "live" and aww, he's so sweet!

After the karaoke session, he brought me to a revolving restaurant at Federal Hotel and the place and ambience was very nice and romantic. We could see the beautiful scenery of KL and it's was simply awesome. And not forgetting about the set dinner that we had - it's delicious.

Also, my Special asked me to open the birthday gift and I did. It's a very, very lovely white-gold pendant (a heart-shaped lock + key). At the moment, I was simply speechless and I didn't know what to say. And yes, no words could describe perfectly how I felt and I think I nearly cried. Hee, I could be quite emotional sometimes...but I gotta say it's so, so wonderful and sweet of him! And how could I forget about the mouth-watering almond cookies and potato chips that he gave me. And also, the DVDs!

* To my Special, I gotta say I had a GREAT, GREAT time with you and every single moment spent with you was very beautiful. And I love every single thing that you gave to me! Although time flies, memories remain, and always, I'd place them in my heart! Here are eight letters, three words and one meaning - I LOVE YOU!

With my friends

My college friends gave me a lil' surprise yesterday and we celebrated at a nearby cafe. They bought me a small cake, a bracelet and necklace for my birthday gift and although it lasted for only thirty minutes (due to classes), it's still very thoughtful and nice of them.

When I look and ponder deeply what birthday is all about, I come to realize that birthday is not only celebration and gifts, but the love of my family, the love of my Special and also, the love of all my friends. Yes, I'm really, really blessed to have all of them and also, the love that they shower me, not only on my birthday but every day.

Shopping. S-w-e-e-t.

Just got back from college + shopping. Sales is still on but nothing interesting and fanciful that caught my attention. Anyway, I did get myself a magazine and yes, it's all about fashion and lifestyle. Well, that's typical of me, ain't it? ;)

Before I go and have a rest, I'd like to post about what my Special composed not long ago. It's so nice and sweet, and yes, I like it lots!

Loving you is a bliss,
kissing you is a natural high,
hugging you is a heavenly joy,
and eating your cookies is
the sweetest of them all!

Cotton Candy

When I was a little girl, I used to think cotton candy was a cute little thing that can be eaten. Also, I was attracted by how colourful it was, be it pink or yellow. And now that I've grown up into a young lady, still, I don't like cotton candy. To me, it is just too sweet. But I do like clouds that look like cotton candy. So fluffy and white, and by looking at them at the clear blue skies, it never fail to put a smile on my face. Ahh... nice!

but
I'm feeling so much better now :)

Music Gadget

At last I made up my mind to get the Creative MP3 player. Thought of getting Muvo but ended up with Zen instead. I gotta say it's a nice and sleek looking player (with 1 GB) and yes, I like it lots. Nah, I'm not going to reveal about the Zen model now but soon. :) Meanwhile, I'm thinking about what name I should give my "new toy". Hmm... since I've got Baby Sand, should I name it Baby Zen? or Baby Mu (comes from 'music')? Haha! :P

Huh, Another Template

Just a note to say I've changed another template for my blog. The previous one with the "black and hot pink contrast" wasn't really "template friendly" and it caused my blog some glitches. Found this white-bright note looking style and although it's simple and nothing fanciful, I think it's still good. Satisfy, satisfy, satisfy :)

Simply Artistic

Thought of posting 3 simple, yet nice pictures that I found from Veer.com. I gotta say Veer is such an interesting site and I'm amazed by the wonderful photographs and illustrations. Truly nice work. :)

After indulging myself with "creativity", it's time for biz journals. Now let me adjust my Harry-Potter-kinda-look-glasses, hee...

@ Mid V With my Special

Went to Mid Valley with my Special on Saturday and there were so many people. Even cars were slow to a crawl and I guess it's because of weekend and an additional 'Sales Madness'. Don't ya think 'Mega Sales' should change into 'Sales Madness'? Haha...Anyway, I didn't buy anything except some chewing gums and sweets (kinda hooked on gums lately :p). Oh for your little info, if you're to buy gums, always select Xylitol and Sugarfree (especially if you're a health and beauty conscious like me :p). Alright, alright, I better stop talking about gums here. I ain't wanna sterotyped as a 'health geek' haha... Apart from that, I also bought a mascara and a lip gloss. Nah, it doesn't have to do with vanity. Seriously. Hee... Also, we checked out some Mp3 players and still, I'm undecided which one to get. HMMM.... Anyway, my Special bought a shirt and I gotta say he looks so good in it. And how could I forget about dinner at Kenny Rogers. After the meal, we felt so so full and eventually, we "struggled" to sit up straight, haha.
