Do you believe?

There're times when you hear people talking about ghosts and spirits (I'd prefer saying it supernatural/paranormal). Some believe. Some don't. Some just don't believe at all. Well, I used to be very sceptical about it but as time went by, and as I got to experience it myself, my perception totally changed. That's when I believe those things do exist.

Previously, whenever I went up to that hill, I defined it as pure fun and entertaining. But few years back, when I got to experience those things in one of the hotels that I stayed (with my family), I began to look at my definiton differently. And lately, when I experienced it again with my college mates, my definition changed once more.

Below are some of the spooky moments my friends and I experienced that I'd like to share with ya all.

Spook 1 - Lift (at noon)

When my college mates and I first got into the apartment on Sunday, I felt nothing, almost nothing. Some of us checked the rooms, the environment was fine and comfortable and I was at ease. My two guy friends then got out to rent some cutlery and after a few moments, when they came back, their expression changed. We began to asked them what happened and they told us about the lift. They were supposed to get down to ground floor, instead, they were taken up all the way to the top floor (21st). And when they reached the top, the door of the lift opened slowly and they began to feel a strange force coming in (I questioned them if that's just wind and they said no). And then, they felt something was there with them.

Spook 2 - Park shelter (3 am)

The moment I put my foot right in to that shelter, the surrounding that I felt began to change into something that I truly disliked. I felt heavy in my heart. Despite that, I continued to walk in slowly and sat on one of the benches (My friends were with me). After a minute or two, I felt an unusual chill behind my back and it's not wind/breeze. The natural breeze that I felt was blowing from the right but this unusual thingy came from the left. At instance, I knew it was those things. One of my friends who could feel them easily told us right away that something was with us. I quickly divert his conversation into something else (to pretend we couldn't feel anything). Meanwhile, another friend of mine suggested that we took pictures there but I stopped him. It wasn't a good idea snapping pictures so I gave some excuses and finally, we left.

Spook 3 - Outdoor theme park entrance (around 3something am)

On the way back to apartment, we thought of stopping by at the entrance to snap some pictures (although it's closed). Basically, no one was there except us. We did see a person or two walking by and that's it. Still, the place was quiet (hey, it's 3 something am, I ain't surprised). At the side of the entrance, there was some sort of flowers decoration with colourful lights so we decided to snap the pics there. A guy friend of mine, Kishore took for us and what puzzled us was, he kept saying he couldn't see us through the camera lens. I was like "hey, we're just in front of you. What do you mean you can't see us?" He kept quiet and after a moment, he managed to take a few shots. And then, some of my girl friends wanted to take a picture right in front of the entrance bar and they asked me to join but I was reluctant and gave some excuses. Do you know why? I was looking through the entrance bar (behind were all the rides and of course, they weren't operating and it was kinda dark) and although I couldn't see anything, I could strongly feel there was quite a number that was wandering about. And this noon, I got an email from him telling me that he did see some things while he was taking pictures for us.

Spook 4 - Walking downhill - Apartment(3 something-4 am)

We're going downhill (back to apartment) when K asked us to walk faster. I was walking with another friend of mine in front of him and all of a sudden, he overtook us. He looked anxious and I asked him what's wrong. He told me he heard lots of noises behind and something was pushing him. I was like "huh? what noises? all I can hear is wind" and he was like "not that kind". And he kept saying to us "don't look behind". Also, he began to say lots of things and again, I tried to divert his conversation. Within a few moments, we got back to the apartment and when he was about to shut the door, his expression changed again. I noticed that and asked what was wrong. He told me he felt some kind of force coming in. I was like "Are you sure?" and he told me "Yes." After a few minutes, one of my girl friends screamed in the bathroom. We were like "what happened?!" but she refused to tell and when we all got to know, it's already 11am on Monday. She saw something that warned her or maybe us to stay in and not go out. I don't know if I should believe this or not but all I could say is, it's really spooky.

Well, I heard lots of comments that Genting Highlands is one of the most haunted place in Asia and I gotta say I do agree with that.

** If there's something unusual with the pictures that we took, I am not surprised at all.

2 Days, 1 Night at Genting

Went to Genting Highlands with my college mates and it's my first time going there with them (Usually, I go with my family). We went there by bus and when come to think about it, it's quite fun. We even brought lots of food along (mainly junk food) and we kept eating in the bus although some of us slept. Well, I did not sleep because basically, I was very excited. We reached Genting in an hour time and of course, the first thing that we did was to check in at Ria Apartment. To keep it short, after checking in and rested for a short while, we walked up (around 10 mins) to the top of the hill where all the main attraction was situated.

Our first activity actually was to play at the outdoor theme park but due to the bad weather, it's closed. As a result, we spent mostly our time indoor and that's when a few of my friends and I decided to get into the Haunted Adventure (some went for movie). It's pretty scary and you wouldn't wanna know what I did inside. I guess it's not the human ghosts that scared me, but eventually, I was the one who scared them haha...Apart from that, we also spent out time playing pool and hey, my team won non-stop. Honestly, I suck at pool but when we kept winning, they joked that I brought luck to them. Oh well, whatever.... haha!

And after all that and a late lunch, we walked back to the apartment to refreshed ourselves and by the time we reached, it's already 7- something pm. We had dinner (some of them cooked while I prepared sandwishes for them- you should know I know nothing about cooking) and it's enjoyable to have dinner together. For the first time, I had such a big appetite that I finished everything on my plate although it's damn spicy. After dinner, we played Blackjack and I lost RM1. One of my friends said we were very stingy for playing few cents but hey, we just wanted to save for the big thing at the casino ;)

At around 11:15pm, we walked up to the main casino. I was highly excited and when the security guard checked me for my ID, I showed it to him with "pride" :P Anyway, I went in and one of my friends explained to me about some of the gambling games. I wanted to play Blackjack but there were so many people, packed like sardine (all mainly aunties and uncles) so I changed my mind. I then played the slot machine and I lost RM10. One of my guy friends played Roulette and he lost RM30. Well, I gotta say there wasn't any luck so we went to another casino which was situated at First World.

The Casino at FW was great and I liked the environment compared to the main one. Again, I thought of playing BJ but changed my mind after my friend told me the 'big & small' was much easier to play. So, I played it with rm50 and the next thing I knew, I won RM100! I was really happy because it's my first time entering the casino and I won (although the amount was not much). After that, we just walked away and went to Starbucks and at that time, it was already 2.30am (on Monday). And by the time all of us got back to the apartment, it's at 4am.

And to keep it short, on Monday noon, after we checked out, we wanted to play at the Theme Park but changed our mind again so we spent our time playing pool + shopping (didn't buy anthing though). And after walking around and relaxing for a few hours, we decided to go back to KL and by the time I reached home, it's quite late and I was so damn exhausted. After I sent the last SMS to my Special, I fell asleep.

Overall, I gotta say I enjoyed myself lots and for the next post, I'll be posting about what we really encountered or experienced.

Chris Daughtry

I have been watching American Idol religiously and my top favourite gotta be Chris. I love his style, vocal and performances and yes, he's just so cool. I used to like Ace Young but now, I think Chris is much better. I hope he'll get into the final 3 and I can't wait to watch his next performance next week. Hmm, am I having American Idol fever? Yeah, I certainly think so. ;)

Purpose of blogging

As I was munching some prawn crackers during tea-time, I thought of updating my blog. Got back from college a couple of hours ago, and since I'd finished my first assignment, I had some extra time to slack. Actually, I'm supposed to set my blog in hiatus mode for 1 week but I guess I couldn't refrain myself from blogging, blogging and blogging. I took a look at Mel's blog yesterday and I kinda like her latest post - 'The purpose of blogging'. When I read it, a question came to my mind and I asked myself this "What's my purpose of blogging?" To Mel, blogging is to rant or share about her daily life. As for me, it's pretty the same although I don't really rant in my blog. I prefer ranting in my personal diary. After all, I don't think it's necessary to let the world see and know every single detail (what is privacy then). Apart from that, blogging does give me pleasure, in a way to "keep myself busy" online (Hee, kinda lame huh) but the best is, I still can keep in touch with all my friends ( For example, I got to know that Arielle lost her cell phone and now, she has a new one). Meantime, blogging also helps me to unleash the creative side of me and if I had the opportunity, I would turn my current blog into something sophisticated. Well, there's quite a number of times that I thought of closing the entire blog but in vain. I feel such a waste and I gotta say blogging is still one of my passion (and always). :)

Ahh.......nice!

Got back from class and meeting an hour ago and thought of updating my blog. Got this from one of my friends and thought of posting it here. I like the message (and the eagle) lots because it's inspring and gives me a strong sense of hope, faith and courage. :)

Much Better

Thought of updating my blog today. As most of you know, I don't go online during weekend. Hmm, a bit peculiar eh? Anyway, I didn't feel too well yesterday (had fever and a bit of runny nose) and all I wanted was sleep, sleep and sleep. I couldn't even watch tv or read a book for too long because my eyes got tired and I felt a bit dizzy. Also, I was kinda filled with all sort of emotions (I ain't know why). But now, I'm much, much, much better.

*My Special, whenever I'm down, you're always there for me - to cheer me up and care for me. I would love to tell you that you're so wonderful.
P.S I love all the lovely surprises that you gave me. You make my life so sweet.
Je T'aime baby.

Oscars 2006

Watched the Oscars on Star Movie last night and it got me pretty excited. Well, at least, I could watch my favourite stars. And what I enjoyed the most was the red carpet and how could I forget about fashion, fashion, and fashion. Most of the stars looked stunning and I loved Kiera Knightly's gown and Nicole's and Reese's...they're simply wonderful! Also, I loved Keanu....he's so cool! :)

Apart from that, I didn't really finish watching the whole show (kinda boring although I loved the opening which was hilarious). After all, the full result is out in the papers today.....and I guess I prefer watching music awards to movie awards.

G R E A T

I seldom go online and update my blog during weekend but today, it's something different. I'm feeling so good that I just can't wait to say yesterday was a fantastic-groovy-terrific-wonderful day! And yes, I had a great, great time with my Special.

I feel....

good......and I feel nice like sugar and spice.......

Thought of the song 'I Feel Good' by James Brown. It's a great song I gotta say and whenever I listen to it, it gives me a cheery mood :)

Okie then, I got to go to do some shopping. Have a smashing weekend everyone!
