Big Match

Two days without WC matches were kinda boring. Perhaps I got so into it 'till I felt something a lil' bit missing. But nah, I ain't that hooked until everything I see is just football and no one has called me 'kaki bola' yet haha... On the other hand, I gotta say those 2 days break were good enough to rest my eyes. In fact, I was kinda afraid that my lenses would get really thicker :p

Anyways, can't wait for Germany Vs Argentina tonight. A big match and I believe it would be exciting! :)

Theatre of Dreams

Pictures courtesy of CX (taken by Mel's hun). How I wish I were there, at Old Trafford... *looks dreamily* :p

Brazil Vs Ghana

Brazil - 3
Ghana - 0

What an awesome match from Brazil! A truly top class team! Never expected 3 goals but with Brazil, anything is possible, ain't it? :) On the other hand, Ghana wasn't that bad and I think they played well although they kinda lost confidence in the second half. Still, it's a tight match.

Meanwhile, Brazil will play with France for the upcoming match (yes, just got to know France beat Spain with the scores 3-1).

Oh, by the way, don't ya think World Cup is getting more and more interesting? hehe :P

Beckham saved England

England 1
Ecuador 0

Watched the match yesterday and I gotta say it's just ok, not great. The first half was boring and pretty uninspriring (yawn). But there's a moment where Ecuador nearly scored a goal and a little anxiety swept over me. That's when I began to b**** about the match to Mel and she's like "CX told me as an England fan, you shouldn't b**** about them." Haha, that's true though but heck, I wasn't impressed with the first half at all. Moreover, I wasn't happy with the way Rooney played alone up front (formation 4-1-4-1).

As for the second half, things changed when Beckham scored a goal from his free kick and yes, you can imagine how delighted I was.

Overall, I'm happy that England managed to enter the quarter final (with Portugal) and may all the luck be with them.

Here's quite an interesting news, check it out - Portugal, England make it through the hard way

Long Day

Due to heavy traffic, reached home kinda late and sometimes, how I wish classes end earlier. Anyway, what a long day today. Now, let me go and have my facial spa. I think I do need one at this moment. :)

Oh, by the way, England will play with Ecuador (second round) on the 25th of June at 11pm. Can't wait and hopefully, things will go well for England. *fingers crossed*

England need to be "polished"?

England - 2
Sweden - 2

Just a quick post to say England did badly in the match and what a disappointing performance. For the first half, Owen was injured in the opening seconds (sad news) and their performance was just ok. As for the second half, their pace was slow (unlike Germany) and Sweden dominated most of the match. Overall, I gotta say England need to do something about it in order to win (for the upcoming matches). And meanwhile, how could I forget about Sweden. They played well with determination indeed.

Although there's a draw, I still lost. Never expected Sweden that good, hee...and before I go and have my nap, :p here's a report on England Vs Sweden.

Countdown to England match

France Vs Korea

France - 1
Korea - 1

Didn't watch the match because it's too late. Heard it's quite a good one and maybe I'll watch the repeat tonight. And talking about the scores, although there's a draw, I still lost in the bet. Hee, I wonder where's my Lady Luck been? ;) Now, just can't wait for England Vs Sweden and I think I should wear the England wristband, today and tomorrow until the match is played and finished, hehe :p

Late strikes from England

Watched England Vs Trinidad & Tobago early morning at 12 and I gotta say England's performance was okay (they can perform better than that). Still, I've to give kudos to them especially Terry, Crouch and Gerrard. Terry did a great job by saving the ball ( I nearly had a "heart-attack" because T&T might have scored a goal). Meanwhile, Crouch and Gerrard saved England with two late goals and wow, what a fantastic performance! And how could I forget about Rooney. I was glad and excited to see him played (missed him after all). On the other side, I gotta say T & T was good especially with their defense but with ball possesion....pretty bad.

Although I bet on Trinidad *ahem* ;) , I was truly delighted to see England's victory. Well, England is always my favourite. Way to go England! :D

Now, let me go and check England's next match. Have a great weekend and Happy WC Fever everyone! :P

Sugar

Read 'The Star' today and saw the headline 'Short of Sugar' and it seemed pretty interesting . I began to wonder if there would be any effect on my eating lifestyle later on. Don't get me wrong here. I'm not the type who crave for sugar or can't live without sugar. It's just one of the things that I'd like to ponder on.

If there's no sugar, how do coffee lovers survive? *deep thoughts* Nah, I'm not a coffee lover nor the type who has a sweet tooth (although I love chocolates). :)

....if I look at another dimension, I don't really need much sugar because I'm already sweet all over ( after all, my Special is my sugar rush...)
:D

World Cup 2006

Watched a bit of Australia Vs Japan yesterday and I thought Japan will surely wins, heck, who knows, Australia scored 3 goals. Hmm, did I learn anything from that? Yes, never underestimate any teams. :)

Now, I just can't wait for Trinidad and Tobago Vs England (16 June, 12 am). Feeling excited and keeping my fingers crossed (for England of course). :)

Great Saturday

How time flies! Yesterday, I was out with my Special and today, I'm at home, blogging. Sometimes, how I wish I could control time - in a way of pausing, rewinding, forwarding or simply playing. :P Anyway, went to Berjaya Times Square to watch X-Men 3 - The Last Stand with my Special and I gotta say it's a great movie. I like it lots although it's saddening at some parts. Scott Summers died. Professor Charles died. Jean Grey died and Mystique (my favourite) lost her powers. On the other hand, I was happy to see Wolverine in full-packed action, very cool, very nice!

After movie, we walked around TS and I did some shopping. Bought VO5 conditioner and Loreal hair mask. And earlier, I bought a book at Borders - Girl with A Pearl Earring (read a few pages and it's good). Also, we went for dinner at a chinese restaurant (out of TS) and the food was delicious. And of course, with my Special around, dining with him made already-delicious food became way more delicious! Mmmmm............And how could I forget about the walking / strolling............yes, it's romantic! :)

*To my Special, I love being and spending time with you....even if we're doing nothing at all.*

Back to original

My voice is back.

Yesterday, I sounded husky.

And husky = sexy ;)

Now, I'm back to original.

And yes, I'm glad.

Saturday with my Special. My voice condition.

Watched 'Da Vinci Code', shopped and dined with my Special at Mid Valley yesterday. If you were to ask me about 'Da Vinci Code', I gotta say the book itself is better. :) And about shopping, I bought myself Cleo magazine, Body Shop Grapefruit shower gel (mmm, nice!) and 2 packets of Strepsils. Had a bad sorethroat and in fact, by the time me and my Special got out from the cinema, I lost my voice (not entirely, but it sucked). Apart from that, we went to Digi Centre to register and also, to Kim Gary for dinner.
*To my Special, whenever I'm with you, I feel as sunny as the sun and you never fail to put a smile on my face. :)

And as I'm typing this, the pain in my throat has totally gone although I still haven't really got back my original voice. I want my voice back desperately. I can't talk or sing properly and even Rino looks at me at one kind. He must be thinking - same owner but different voice? Haha....Anyway, I've been sucking Lemon & Honey Strepsils and I think it helps eventually.

Had a few pieces of sushi for pre-dinner and goodness me, they tasted so good. In fact, I think it's better than porridge because it's more delicious (cold and raw - no oil) and looks lively (as in colour). Now, I'm begin to have a heavy craving for sushi and sashimi. Hmm, shall I have that for lunch next 3 days consecutively? Hehe... :P

Thank you note

Hey all,

To those who sent me well wishes, I'd like to say thank you and I appreciate it lots. And to my Special, your calls brightened up my day and by talking and listening to your voice, I felt so, so fine!

I feel so much better now and am ready to paint the town red at anytime ;)

'Sleeping Princess' - feelin' better

Gosh, didn't realize today is 1st of June. I guess I must have slept too much yesterday. I was sick, with a sorethroat and a bit of flu and all I wanted was sleep. I think it's the weather because it's kinda scorching hot here and the heat was terrible. And after I took my medicine (especially flu), I felt drowsy and as if I was floating on air (yup, it was "powerful") and as a result, I became a 'Sleeping Princess'. Yeah, so I was like sleeping, sleeping, sleeping....And talking about food, it's darn tasteless, bleh... Anyways, I'm feeling better now. The pain in my throat has gone (although I still have flu) and I guess I've to be a 'Sleeping Princess' again for the next few hours.
