Slow. Testing 123.

Jeez, am having difficulty logging in to Gmail and Blogger, and I wonder if is Google's problem or mine... Was about to update another post actually but it was too slow, thus I decided to wait for few more moments. Anyway, I'm testing this to check if things are back to norm. Hopefully everything will get better real soon and heck, I so dislike slow web traffic. :(

Weekend Dinner + Lunch Buffet

Had a great Saturday with my Special where we went to Vogue Cafe, Renaissance Hotel to have a complimentary dinner buffet for two. Had quite a number of raw food such as oysters, prawns and sashimi as starter and it's delicious although we felt that the oysters weren't that fresh enough. Thank goodness none of us had tummy upset! And as for other foods, I liked the sirloin steak lots as it tasted real good. The soup was nice too as it had a nice aroma of cheese + milk and perhaps a bit of sour cream. Pardon me as I've kinda forgotten the name of the soup. Been kinda forgetful lately, hee... Anyway, the dessert section was pretty good although we strongly feel it should have more varieties. Still, I enjoyed the strawberries, cakes and pudding, and I gotta say I enjoyed it even more as my Special's right there with me.

On Sunday noon, my family and I went to Lemon Garden, Shangri-la to attend my god-bro's birthday lunch. The food was great and it's pretty similar with Renaissance although there were much more of varieties. I had raw food for starter again - oysters, prawn and sashimi (yup that's my buffet trend :D) and after two rounds, I took some cooked food and Mmmm... the fried prawn rolls were so darn good. And the steak too!! And guess what, for the first time in my life, I had chocolate pizza! Yup, you heard it right, chocolate pizza with lots of chocolate and walnuts. Well, the taste was pretty strange at first but after indulging it for a while, it tasted really good. Will definitely post the picture of it soon! :)

And after the lunch buffet, I went to see my Special and I gotta say spending time with him so wonder-wonderful . We went to Bukit Jalil park for a walk (it's good to burn calories after all the buffet, tee-hee) and yep, I enjoyed strolling and walking with him, and we even had ice-cream. And in the evening, we had delicious Claypot Frog Porridge and also, we went back to his place to watch a Chinese movie 'Eye in The Sky' starring Simon Yam. :D

I guess I really need to undergo detox session this whole week (after indulging all the food) hehe... :P

Sweet Holidays

My Special and I spent our holidays together and I gotta say it's so very sweet and lovely.

13/10/07, Saturday

On Saturday afternoon, we went to Gardens and Mid Valley (to walk around and do some shopping) and later in the night, we went back to his place to watch Planet Terror and had a lovely supper. Lovely is because we made it together (my Special did the meat while I prepared the soup) and the chicken burger turned out really good. In fact, it's so much healthier as it contained lesser oil and I tried to built it as tall as possible by putting in thick slices of tomatoes and cucumbers. And wahey, it looked so much bigger than Big Mac! :P

14/10/07, Sunday

And on Sunday (as I slept over at his place), we had our breakfast at around 10 am and had another round of tasty chicken burger with hot drinks. Yup, my Special did the meat and ahh... seeing him flipping them is so cool. Too bad my camera phone isn't that clear. If yes, I'd have surely took a few pictures of him and even video-cam him live, tee-hee... :p

And as for lunch, we decided to change things a bit by having noodles and honey chicken meat. Although the honey aroma wasn't that strong, still it's enough to have a good sweet taste and yes, it's lovely. And how could I forget my Special's mom freshly baked chocolate cakes. Mmm.... yummy!

After lunch, we watched another movie which was Death Proof and it's an okay movie although we think Planet Terror's much better. Still it's nice as we sat on his relaxing armless red couch and watched it together.

As for dinner, his lovely mom cooked and yup, I gotta say it's yummy and delicious. And the soup... Mmmm... totally refreshing!

Later in the night, we watched another movie but this time, we decided to pick something light so we watched Flushed Away. It's a great, funny and entertaining movie and at some parts, we just couldn't stop laughing as it's too hilarious. And one more thing... I love how my Special interacted with the cute cheery snails at the end of the movie. Tee-hee! :D
