A Great Weekend

Saturday 27/1/07 - Rain's Coming World Tour Concert

Picture taken from www.thestar.com.my
My Special and I attended Rain's Concert at Bukit Jalil Putra Stadium and I gotta say it's a great and wonderful concert. Our seats were GOOD as we sat at the front (either the 5th or 6th row), thus, we could see Rain and everything very clearly. What I like most about the stage was that, Rain could walk forward and performed as the stage was built like a pentagon and in the middle was the 'PIT Area' (RM1002) where the fans were and of course, they could have a more 'up-close and personal' with him. Still, I'm glad that the seats that I won were 'VIP seats', numbered seating and at least, we could stand or sit at anytime (Thanks MTV Asia!). :)

I may not blog about every single detail about the concert, but I may write some of the things that I like most. Firstly, the production was great as this included the visual effects and pyrotechnics on the stage. And as far as I could remember, there's a moment where he danced solo, and in the background were a few screens showing his silhouettes (movements+choreography) and boy, it was so 'in sync' and cool. Secondly, the artificial rain that showered him and I gotta say it's such a nice effect, and how could I forget about the stage fireworks and flames that were were simply beautiful as it made the stage so full of energy. And last but not least, I truly like his dancing style and moves and his music genre that covers from Pop to R&B to Funk and to Hip- hop.

Among all the concerts that I've attended, I gotta say Rain's Coming World Tour Concert is one of the best and yes, it's something that I'll always remember. In the meantime, it's special to me as well as I got to watch it with my Sweetheart, my Special.

Sunday 28/01/07 - At Mid Valley

Watched 'Curse of The Golden Flower' (Mandarin Version) at Mid Valley with my Special and I gotta say it's such a nice movie. Full of grand spectacle, and the costumes, colours and effects were simply dazzling. And how could I forget about Chow Yun Fat and Gong Li as their acting were great. Jay Chou was in too but I'm not too keen, just the end credits' song he sang that I think it's nice. Overall, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Before the movie, my Special and I had double scoop ice-cream + sundae at Baskin Robbins and mmm.... so delicious. I had Rum & Raisin and Cream and Cookies and oh yes, I like it lots. Well, I gotta say eating ice-cream with my Special is simply so sweet... and romantic too.

Apart from that, we went shopping too and I bought nothing much, just two sexy and pretty thongs from Triumph Fashion Style, and a Cleo magazine. Well, those thongs are so nice and perhaps, I'm gonna post those pictures on my blog soon, tee-hee...

As for dinner, we had Burger King and I had a set meal of Whopper Jr (my favourite) and I gotta say it's delicious. And how could I forget about the fried onion rings and french fries. I don't know why but I think Onion Rings and French Fries go together... ;p

* To my Special, I had a great, great time with you.
Also, I love spending every single moment with you.
And I wanna say I Love You!*

Working Is Nice

I started working (as a part timer) yesterday and I gotta say it's not that bad after all. I decided to work as I am having two weeks semester break and I strongly believe it'd be interesting in terms of gaining some experience and earning some $$$. I still remember during the briefing a week ago, I was told that the job as a examination attendant (under Examination Division and Credit Accumulation) was a super-tiring job but after started working yesterday, I think it's not that tiring. But some of the staffs told me it's too earlier to tell and I should prepare for the worst in two weeks time. Hopefully they are not scaring me away but I still think it's an easy and fun job, and I believe I can handle it until the end. :)

Apart from working, I also got to meet a bunch of nice people. They are very friendly and sociable indeed and there's one girl whom I'll remember. Her name is Lee Lee and during my first day at work, we're assigned to work in the same team so I got to talk to her and the next thing I knew, our conversation was endless and it seemed like we've known each other for years. Meanwhile, hours after hours and as time passed, we got to know other people and our clique grew from two to five.

"Although all of you are here for only two weeks, no matter how tiring or boring the job is, just do your best and enjoy yourselves." This is what Miss Lai (one of the examination officers) told us and oh yes, I gotta agree with her. :)

Rain's Coming & I'm Going (To Watch)

I posted about how delighted I was yesterday but there was no further details. Today, I'm going to reveal about my delightment and that is, I'm going to attend Rain's concert at Bukit Jalil, KL this Saturday and I believe it's going to be a blast. Well, to my surprise, I've won a pair of VIP tickets (RM750 each) from MTV Asia and I guess Lady Luck was really smiling widely at me, tee hee. Meanwhile, I gotta say I'm much more and extra delighted because my Special is going to watch with me and ahh... I just can't wait for the day to arrive.

Quotes Of the Day

As I was reading some inspirational quotes, two of them caught my attention, and I thought of posting them here to share with ya all. In the meantime, since I had free time, since creating creativity is something that I like, to make the quotes more attractive, these are what I've produced. :)

Perhaps for my next 'Quotes Of The Day', I shall embed my own picture in the background, tee-hee.

Take a look at these sushi below everyone, and they look very nice and tempting, aren't they? Well, to some of you, perhaps these sushi are just ordinary ones and nothing special. Actually, they are not sushi but...

PD Pictures

Before I proceed, here's a quick note to let you all know I've changed my blog's background into a softer and sweeter look. If you do notice, the background contains 'La Bella Vita' and it means a beautiful life. Oh yes, a nice quote for the new year. :)

Back to the main topic now, here are some of the pictures that my Special took while we were at Port Dickson for NYE Countdown and NYD 07.

New Year Entry (Delay)

Yes, my blog is up and alive again after leaving it to rest + hiatus mode for almost 2 weeks. Well, my exam is over and I'm more than just glad.

Wahey, just a blink of an eye comes year 2007. Time does really fly. Sometimes, I feel it's so fast like a speeding bullet, or even a quick flowing river. And from my creative point of view, year 2007 is 'Double O Seven' year, or in a more specific term, 'James Bond' year. Oh well, I guess I consumed too much of 'James Bond' vibe, haha! Anyway, in a more serious thought, 2007 marks new beginning as I believe there would be possibilities and opportunities, and hopefully, I'm able to stretch out my wings and fly. :)

~NYE Countdown to 2007~
Looking back, it's something special indeed as it's my first time celebrating at the beach. Previous years, I celebrated NYE mostly in a simple way, but as for NYE Countdown 07, I celebrated it with my Special and his friends, and yes, it's something different, something special. I had such a great time with him and his friends, and I gotta say it's something that I'll always remember. Well, I may not be able to describe every single moment here (it would be a long, long post), but at the same time, I wanna say every moment spent was truly WONDERFUL.

~New Year's Resolutions~
Meanwhile, when there's new year, there are resolutions. Some people make resolutions and stick to them while some don't. As far as I remember, I didn't have proper resolutions previous years as I rarely kept them. But as for this year, I've set a few as I believe it would inspire me to achieve my goals and strive for success. And to all resolutions makers out there, it might be difficult along the way but always remember, do not give up no matter what. Here is an article about Top 10 tips to get you started and follow through.

Alright then, I shall go now but I'll be back for more. Not forgetting I'll be posting some of the NYE Countdown pictures here soon. :)

Quick Note

Wahey, here is one of my pictures that was taken on X'mas eve 2006 and I thought of posting it here on my blog. Although the picture looks pretty simple, I truly like the effects by Adobe Photoshop CS2. Anyway, due to my exams next week, I'm putting my blog into hiatus mode. But I'll be back on 12th of January with newer and more interesting posts (plus how I celebrated New Year eve with my Special and his friends), and if possible, a lil' make-over for my blog too.

Alright then, take care ya all and once again, Happy 2007!
